Making a sea change

Making a sea change, czyli jak porwać uczniów i jak nowatorsko rozwijać ich kreatywność na zajęciach

If you have ever wondered how to make a real change to your teaching and how to ensure your young learners’ complete cooperation, this workshop is for you. You will learn how to achieve the ultimate in the primary classroom - the smile and self-confidence of your learners through a carefully-staged lesson plan and a selection of innovative, stimulating, technology-free ideas.

To this end, I will concentrate on various practical techniques to activate the children’s brains, senses and emotions in order to design fun, yet productive and efficient lessons. I will present a number of  hands-on activities with a twist to teach the skill of counting, the alphabet, or describe animals so that students are genuinely engaged and immersed in the language. To top it all, I will prove how the such tasks support the child’s creativity, thinking skills, as well as his/ her emotional and social development. Come and let me show you how to almost effortlessly make a sea change to your teaching of young learners.

My main focus will be lower primary children, but you’ll see that a lot of my activity ideas are great both for older kindergarteners and for upper-primary learners.
